The AI enhancement and colourisation gives a completely different image and helps us understand the photo more.
As opposed to black & white where the shades of grey, brown and black are blended into one another and can give a somewhat distorted view of the scene, especially since vintage photos often fade.
Fwiw I feel the images are good, but it would be nice if you could upload a side-by-side comparison for context. That way future viewers will be better informed.
