The stalls on the right cover the entrance to the Western Market (South Block) Building.

1900s Bonham Strand near Old Sheung Wan Market, by moddsey

I think both photos show the junction of Wing Lok Street, Bonham Strand and Morrison Street [c.1859- ]. Looking at the 1901 map, we have the Western Market (South / Original Block) [1858-1980] on the right and the Harbour Office (3rd generation) [1866-????] on the right. The Harbour Office is probably behind the photographer? Or is the eastern wing visible?

In the main photo and the postcard, Wing Lok Street is to the left of the two buildings in the centre facing Morrison Street. Wing Lok Street continues on and is to the left of the photographer in the foreground.

We know the Harbour Office was at the western junction of Morrison Street and Wing Lok Street. The Harbour Office location should be further up Wing Lok Street beyond the building on the left in the main photo and postcard.

In the photo below an additional wall can be seen beyond the building in the left foreground. The structure looks like the wall prior to the Harbour Office Building in this photo
