Just an observation. I think the photo above is more like from the 1970s. Perhaps taken in 1975 after the Sea Dragon Skindiving Club became a limited company in 1973 ?

It does look a bit more 70s than 50s to me...

Banner says 22nd anniversary in Chinese; bit of what might be the significant digit shows in English but is out of frame along with a bit of the gentleman on the far left.

The gentleman standing looks a bit like a 50-odd year old Stanley Ho.  Pictures of Jean-Michel Cousteau from that time all seem to have him with a beard, rather than sideburns like Stanley's.

John Fortune presumably is second from the left.  Compare with https://gwulo.com/media/52257 - has only a few years passed or ~20?

Is that Henry Fok third from the right?  If this was taken in the 50s, then he'd be in his mid-30s.

-kpl.

Confirmed, this was the 22nd Anniversary of the founding of the Club therefore it is 1979.

l stand corrected.

l cross checked with former members.

This was the Annual General Meeting, followed by a Dinner Banquet.

John Fortune is second from the left as you face the stage. Standing with microphone was Stanley Ho and Henry Fok. (2 Casino Magnates).

The Club was founded in 1957. Sea Dragons Skin Diving Club was founded in 1957 by Bunny Liu, his father Mr Liu Yuk Wa and Mr Chik Lit Fai former HK swimming champion.
