The photo was obtained from Facebook's Chinese group Former Neighbors in Sheungwan (上環舊街坊). It attracted a lot of comments. The spot was the bustling intersection of Possession Street, end of Queen's Road Central (photo's background), start of Queen's Road West (where the lady was standing on), and Bonham Strand. Time should be around 1950s-1960s. It appears that the lady was among a VIP group visiting the area and the police blocked it off to enable the VIPs to stroll around. 

Would be interested to see if someone could identify the pretty lady.

The car is 1940s make

The non-prefix car registration plate numbers were issued from 1903-1959. The 2 letter prefix registration plates were issued from 1949.

Black and white photo.

Fashion of the young lady is more 1950s vibe than 1960s. 

I think the photo is dated more 1950s than 1960s but it's just an opinion.

Given the location of the photograph, I was thinking more of a Chinese film star attending a film premiere at one of the theatres in Sheung Wan. Central Theatre?
